![]() Your feedback is both extremely gratifying and insanely valuable to me. Without further delay, here's the first Leg of the Journey in the War for The Eastern Dawn. The bulk of the tale involves the Brindled Men of Sothoryos, the Ghiscari Slavers, and other dangerous and unique characters only the World of Ice and Fire could contain. So, if you're disappointed there are no other characters for the shipwrecked son of Ice and Fire, don't fret. This book starts as a "Robinson Crusoe" survival story, exploring the savage wilderness of Sothoryos, but then shifts into the main plot about Chapter 14. Harwin Snow, as he is known at the tale's outset, is the now orphaned son of these two "canon" characters pulled from Fire and Blood, and his journey begins as a now mostly grown man in the Year 151 After Aegon's Conquest, a good 20 or so years after the conflict known as the Dance of Dragons. The characters, though having realistic ties to the general feel of the World of Ice and Fire, are original characters, with the main character only tying into the Tapestry of Westeros as the Son of Jacaerys Velaryon, Queen Rhaenerya's eldest son, and the Bastard of Winterfell Sarah Snow. It takes place (obviously) in the vibrant and horrifying jungles of Sothoryos, the forgotten continent only barely detailed in Martin's collection of works. This is not your typical entry into ASOIAF Fanfiction. So I am struggling at times to do the basic things needed to have things posted and read elsewhere, but I believe in the story and am committed to sharing it with as many as I can. It was a distinct pleasure, and an arduous undertaking, but overall, the feedback I've received from and AO3 has been overwhelmingly positive, and multiple readers suggested I share this work with this site. ![]()
